Short-term training is 12 weeks or less and may be completed with a group or individually.
You must live in Newfoundland and Labrador and hold a valid work permit or other status that enables you to work in Canada.
We can help you participate in training in a range of areas such as:

Training will consider your language skills and interpreters can be provided if needed.
If approved for training, you will receive a basic stipend of $175 per month and funding to cover the costs of your training course, childcare, transportation, equipment, and start-up allowance of up to $200, as needed.
Training must be approved before you start to incur costs.
