I am submitting my personal information in regard to looking for work in the food processing industry.

I have experience making sausages, Polony, burgers, mince, and Vienna in the food manufacturing industry for over 12 years, starting as a general worker and moving to Production management up to the implementation of food safety. I have developed a deep understanding of the inspection of raw materials when initially receiving them from the supplier up to the whole process of preparing spices, completing documentation for traceability purposes, labeling, verifying cooking temperature, the production process, online quality checks, factory cleaning and sanitization, personnel hygiene, and finally loading products into a truck upon verification of its temperature and inspection of truck cleanliness.

I have a strong passion for food safety implementation, as I have drafted documents for a new Factory of Impala Meats and implemented the food safety system up to obtaining the Food Audit Certification.

During my career,

  • I have overseen the daily operations of the food production department to ensure efficiency.
  • Monitor product quality to ensure adherence to company standards and regulations.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Train and monitor new and existing staff on production best practices and food safety.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of production.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to identify and address deviations from established guidelines.
  • Monitoring production lines, analyzing samples, investigating complaints, and maintaining documentation.
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures and collaborating with various teams to maintain product integrity.
  • Conducting food routine and in-depth inspections of food production facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and any corrective actions taken, as well as preparing reports for management meetings.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems and procedures to meet food safety regulations and standards.

To support my career, I further studied and attained a Bachelor of Consumer Science majoring in Food Management with Unisa, HACCP, GMP, National certificate in Purchasing and Supply Management, Pest Control, and allergen management.

I would be delighted if my application is successful, as this will enable me to achieve my dream as a certified food safety implementor and will greatly contribute to the success of achieving your organization’s requirements.
